Summer is wrapping up, but there’s still a time to make memories together. And after lots of time spent at the pool and playground, it's nice to break up the monotony with an excursion of adventure to cap the summer off! If you're ready to make engaging memories together, look no further than DeSoto Caverns!
DeSoto Caverns is a full-day getaway from the routine of backyard splashes and grass stains, where both you and the little ones will be stimulated by the educational and entertaining experience at our caverns and park.
In every hourly cavern tour, you will learn about the historic adventurers that used the cave, including Confederate soldiers that mined gunpowder, the making of moonshine during prohibition times and much more. You’ll also encounter our Legends Light Show, a laser light, sound and water show that encompasses our history and the park’s core foundation.
There’s fun for everyone when you step inside our Family Fun Park! Oprah.com ranked DeSoto Caverns as one of the top “wacky and wildly entertaining” amusement parks in the United States and we still live up to the name today. With over 20 of these “wacky” attractions, including our three-quarter acre Lost Trail Maze, Panning for Gemstones, and the always popular Wacky Water Golf. Especially as you cool off from the summer heat at one of our three water attractions, we’re sure you’ll have a great time at the park.
At DeSoto Caverns, we’re dedicated to hosting an atmosphere that invites our guests to make special memories with their friends and families. In order to provide and serve incredible food and drink options, we have chosen to partner with local, quality companies that contribute to enhancing the Cafe experience. We are proud to offer a variety of delicious cookies and pastry treats as well as local coffee brews while you bask in our park at a picnic or simply enjoy the outdoors.
