Jessica Baker is a powerhouse singer with a crystal clear message to inspire all those that encounter her passion. She's been singing since she was a child, but did not start singing publicly until she was about 13. She started singing in church and eventually doors began to open at different events, whether it was park festivals or sporting events. Jessica says, "One of the greatest honors is being able to sing our national anthem, the Star Spangled Banner. I hold it very close to my heart! So far, I have had the wonderful opportunity of singing it at the University of Alabama softball and baseball teams, as well as the Birmingham Barons and the Huntsville Havoc. I write songs and hope they can be an inspiration and encouragement to anyone who listens. I truly believe when you are given a gift or a talent, the only way to find fulfillment in your life is to share it with others."

Introducing Keegan Bost, the 18-year-old with a guitar, smooth vibrato, and the rasp that gives everybody chills.  It’s his soulful passion that you will feel, and that's what sets him apart from every other teen with a heart throb haircut. A few years ago, he was more content behind the drums, keeping rhythm for his sister’s garage band. But after she taught him a few chords on his ukulele at 13, he discovered his voice and wrote his first song.  Following artists like Pentatonix, Bruno Mars, Ron Pope, and Gavin DeGraw, Keegan quickly picked up the guitar and started performing at birthday parties and weddings. Since then, it’s been nothing but downstage-center and full speed ahead for him. His set consists mostly of himself and his guitar playing a variety of acoustic music. Some have compared his style to artists like Ben Rector, Ed Sheeran, and James Bay. He debuted a few of his originals at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, where he was a finalist in their Open Mic Night.  Most recently, he won a spot in the Open Mic Sing-off at Moonlight on the Mountain in Hoover, AL.  You can discover him on all social media sites under Keegan Bost.

Casey Thrasher is a Country music singer/songwriter originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and is currently pursuing a career in Nashville, Tennessee. He began playing music at a young age and began pursuing it as a full-time career after his honorable discharge from the United States Army in 2012.  Casey was a finalist on seasons 13 and 14 of the hit television series "American Idol" on FOX, and independently released his self titled debut album on all digital platforms in the fall of 2015. His music has been sold and streamed in all 50 states as well as over 20 countries. Thrasher released a single entitled "Free" in March of 2017 and it was quickly positioned to the highest featured independent country music release on iTunes' featured music roster. Casey is an ardent patriot and proud father and he and his family are happy to be joining us for the inaugural Home Sweet Home event here at DeSoto Caverns.

Tayllor Hanson is a graduate of Highlands College and Point University. She was called at an early age to use her gift of music to share God’s love with the world. Tayllor leads worship at Church of the Highlands, as well as the band members who accompany her, where she is also involved with student ministries such as Motion, Spark, and ONE. Her mission in life is to glorify God with her music and to touch hurting people by helping them experience the unconditional love and supernatural presence of God.

Justin-Cross.jpg

Justin Cross is a Singer/Songwriter from Birmingham, AL. After releasing his first full-length album Listening to Ghosts in 2010, Justin Cross started reworking and perfecting his homey, folky sound; quickly realizing a maturity that few songwriters of his age possess. His songs speak of hopeful realism, of spiritual struggles, and of a desire to affect the world in a positive light. In 2012, Cross released his official follow-up EP, Another Winter, to resounding critical approval and further developed his keen sense for contemplative songwriting. After a successful, fan-funded IngieGoGo campaign at the end of 2013, Cross released his second full-length album, Hope Where It Lies . Cross says, “It is one of those records that resonates with different people in different ways. Some people may be dealing with the same cynicism I was and I want them to see that the world isn’t as much of a lost cause as they suspect.” Cross also found international success and fans across the world after the YouTube video for his song “Drink The Water” garnered millions of views. Regardless of where you are, the Georgia-bred, Birmingham-based Justin Cross has offered the invitation to a thrilling musical experience. The question is: will you accept?
