What: Art event allowing artists to “Capture the Cave” through different forms of art (photography, drawing, charcoal, etc.) There will also be an opportunity to share your art from the night after the event using both the hashtag #desotocaverns and #capturethecave.

- If tickets are not used for the day they are purchased for, they can only be redeemed on a future "Capture the Cave" event day or their monitary value can be used towards another ticket.

When: May 27th at 6:30 pm
Where: Inside DeSoto Caverns
Capture the Cave is a special evening devoted to art within DeSoto Caverns. On May 27th at 6:30 pm, photographers will be free to walk the paths and "capture the Cave" for an hour. All photos tagging DeSoto Caverns and using the hashtag #capturethecave will be entered into a contest. The top photo will be selected by a panel of professional photographers and will be posted the June 6th in celebration of National Cave Day on the company Facebook page crediting the photographer! This event costs $22.98 and can be purchased online or in the gift shop on the evening of the event. Capture the Cave is also a great opportunity to celebrate the International Year of Caves and Karst!
